Rahem Brown (born March 20, 1970), also known as Tame One on stage, is an American hip hop recording artist from New Jersey.

He is a founding member of Artifacts and Leak Bros, as well as the hip hop supergroup The Weathermen.

Tame One and Jay Burnz Jay are the Founder and Co-founder of the super hip hop group The Boom Skwad, of which Tame One is President.

Jay Burnz Jay was named Vice President of The Boom Skwad by his administrator.

Tame One Career

Musical career

Tame One and El Da Sensei's first album Between a Rock and a Hard Place (1994) and a follow-up album That's Them in 1997. Tame One has released two albums with the Artifacts, six solo albums, three mixtapes, and three joint projects, one with Cage as Leak Bros (Waterworld), one with Del The Funky Homosapien (Parallel Uni-verses) and Dro Pesci and Nick Jackelson on The Revolution. He has worked with musicians including Aesop Rock, El-P, DJ Mr. Len, Breeze Brewin, Travis McCoy, Yak Ballz, Hussein Fatal, Big Daddy Rap Beast, and KRS-One. He joined the Weathermen, a underground band formed in 2002 by Cage and El-P, and his first solo album and EC debut When Rappers Attack were released in the same year. O.G. is his second solo album. Bobby Johnson appeared in 2005. He's scheduled his next album, Slow Suicide Stimulus, a joint venture with the Dusted Dons, next year.

In July 2009, Tame One released a music video for his single "Anxiety Attacks," directed by Derek Pike. (MDMA, the active ingredient in Ecstasy, credits for making HipHop's first song about "Molly" (MDMA, the active ingredient in Ecstasy). Tame met with Staten Island rapper Dro Pesci and producer Nick Jackelson together on record "The Revolution," which has yet to be released.

"Hell or High Water," DJ Junkwaffel's entirely produced an EP for free download at slangcorp.com, has been released. Currently working on a re-released Artifacts album with El Da Sensei and DJKaos 1200 (2014), as well as a Boom Skwad Recordings solo mix cd "Skwadzilla" cd.
