Tamara Braun (born April 18, 1971) is an American actress best known for her appearances on daytime television.
She played Carly Corinthos on GM from 2001-2005, and Reese Williams on All My Children from 2008-2009.

Early life and education
Tamara Braun was born in Evanston, Illinois, to a family of Jewish descent. She attended Evanston Township High School. She studied psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and took a summer course in Shakespeare at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in England before backpacking around Europe.
Career
Braun is best known for her win at the 2009 Daytime Emmy Awards, receiving the distinction of Outstanding Support Actress for her role as Ava Vitali on Days of Our Lives. Carly Corinthos' portrayal on ABC soap opera GM is also well-known, from 2001 to 2005. Braun, as Carly, was prominently portrayed as a romantic partner of characters Sonny Corinthos, as shown by Daytime Emmy winner Maurice Benard and Lorenzo Alcazar, played by Ted King.
Braun played the female lead in the independent film Little Chenier, which was shot in Louisiana in August 2005. Braun used a dialect coach to develop a Cajun accent, and she chitlished her appearance by getting a bronzed tan and darkening her hair. Tamara appeared on four episodes of ABC sitcom Freddie as a pastry chef Rose, which was a romantic desire of both lead male characters. Tamara has also appeared in Tom Pankratz's independent film Limbo Lounge.
