A Melbourne property tycoon has sued a tech entrepreneur and his elderly parents (left) for $660 million after borrowing $70,000 from his late son (left). Mark Casey, part-owner of the 2022 Melbourne Cup winner Gold Trip (inset) and a key Essendon Football Club member, has filed legal papers on behalf of his son James, who appeared in Victoria's Supreme Court. James, a type-I diabetic, died in August last year when he went out with friends in New York without insulin and slipped into a coma.
