Early life

She studied in Quilmes and graduated from La Anunciata Collegiate as a primary school teacher, a career she never pursued. Giménez served as an executive secretary for a large company for a few years before becoming popular.

Personal life

Age 17, she married businessman Mario Sarabayrouse. Mercedes Sarabayrouse Giménez, her only daughter, was born a year later.

She appeared in 'La Mary,' a film directed by Daniel Tinayre in 1970, where she met Carlos Monzón, a well-known Argentine boxer with whom she started a two-year friendship. Huberto Roviralta, a polo player who died in 1998, married her in 1988. As a divorce deal, she was required to pay ten million dollars to Roviralta.

Giménez has two children, Luca and Manuel, as a result of her daughter Mercedes. In private, her family and friends say, "Su," a term that has been adopted by her followers.
