McDonald's, the world's biggest burger franchise, is planning to expand its chicken offerings. Parts of this scheme may involve the removal of a long-awaited menu item, Snack Wraps. The chain's chicken orders have now hit $25 billion per year, on par with beef, and are expected to increase. The original Snack Wrap, a mix of chicken, lettuce and cheese in a warm tortilla, was launched in 2006 and discontinued a decade later when it fell short of sales and was deemed impossible to prepare.

After hearing soundings from Google's CEO, Rishi Sunak is putting forward proposals for a rapid reform of laws to tackle artificial intelligence's increasing impact. As Mr Sunak continues to tighten the UK's existing laws, the Prime Minister met with Sundar Pichai, chief executive of Google's parent company Alphabet, to discuss the prospect of an international body to monitor AI's rapid expansion. The Prime Minister believes that the government's White Paper on AI, which was only released in March, is now out of date.
