He is best known for his portrayal of Dwight Stifler in American Pie Presents: The Naked Mile and American Pie Presents: Beta House.
Career
Talley's on-screen career began in 2002, with a small role in As the World Turns, a daytime soap opera. As Bryce, he appeared in three episodes of the drama series Summerland between June and July 2005. Talley made a guest appearance in the drama film Peaceful Warrior and on the sitcom Twins earlier this year.
In the fifth installment of the American Pie film series, Talley portrayed Dwight Stifler. The film, which was immediately posted on video, earned over US$27 million worldwide. Talley as Dwight "makes for one of the least appealing movie characters I've ever seen," DVD Talk's Scott Weinberg wrote. Talley appeared in American Pie Presents: Beta House's sixth installment in the series the following year. The film, which was directly posted on YouTube, earned over US$18 million worldwide.
In the 2010 direct-to-DVD film Hole in One, which had various names prior to its unveiling, Talley appeared in Van Wilder: Freshman Year as the character Dirk Arnold, as the actor Eric P. Keller. Talley has now expanded to less popular films, including lead reporter Matt Harper in Deadline, a racially motivated murder of an African-American teenager in the South. Talley has appeared in a Pepsi Max British television commercial as well as film credits. He sped away in a Bridgestone commercial about a wild bachelor party that went wrong during Super Bowl XLIV. Talley is also featured in a 2010 Pizza Hut commercial campaign. In late June 2012, it was announced that Ella Montgomery's (Holly Marie Combs) love interest on Pretty Little Liars would be played. In 2014, he performed on two critically acclaimed TV shows, VH1's nostalgia dramedy Hindsight and The CW's post-apocalyptic drama The 100. In season 2, showrunner Jason Rothenberg and writer Kim Shumway loved what Talley did with the engineer Kyle Wicker so much that they wrote a new story arc for him.
