Steve Stevens (born Steven Bruce Schneider; May 5, 1959) is an American guitarist and songwriter.

He is best known for his role as Billy Idol's guitarist and songwriting collaborator, as well as his lead guitar work on the theme of Top Gun – "Top Gun Anthem" – for which he received a Grammy award in 1987: Best Pop Instrumental Performance.

He has performed for Michael Jackson, Ric Ocasek, Robert Palmer, and several others.

Stevens appeared on Neil Neil's album Exposed in 1993 and 1994, before he played and recorded on Neil Neil's album Exposed.

Stevens and Idol were brief members of the Neurotic Outsiders group in 1995.

Stevens was a founding member of Bozzio Levin Stevens, which also produced Black Light Syndrome in 1997 and Situation Dangerous in 2000.

He brought Spanish flamenco guitar stylings to the music group Juno Reactor's "Pistolero" (1999).

Stevens appeared with Kings of Chaos from 2012-2016.

In April 2016, Steve Stevens' group headlined the closing show at the Musikmesse in Frankfurt, Germany.

He is also a television presenter on the E! Married to Rock with Josie Stevens, his wife, is a member. Atomic Playboys (1989) and Flamenco a Go-Gorilla are among his solo album releases.
