Early life
Nastassia Bianca Schroeder was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, to an architect, Mark, and a jewelry designer (Georgi Jules Jewelry) mother, Dayna. Hunter and Nikolai have two younger brothers, as well as Georgianna, her younger sister. Rosemary, her grandmother, died at the age of 95 in May 2019. Schroeder began attending theater classes at Mount Carmel Academy, a local high school. When she turned 18, she travelled to Hollywood and obtained a bachelor's degree in English writing at Loyola Marymount University.

Hurricane Katrina flooded and destroyed the Schroeders' house after the show's filming. While renovating their house, they stayed with another family from the show. She was on the television show Queen Bees when she went to school in 2008.
She began working at Lisa Vanderpump's restaurants SUR and Villa Blanca in 2010, earning her a spot on the reality television show Vanderpump Rules. Vanderpump's workers are chronicled in the series as they work on their futures and become embedded in emotional turmoil.
