Staci Keananan (born Anastasia Love Sagorsky on June 6, 1975) is an American deputy district attorney and former actress.

Nicole Bradford on the NBC sitcom My Two Parents from 1987 to 1990, as Dana Foster on ABC/CBS Step by Step from 1990 to 1998.

Early life

Keananan was born in Devon, Pennsylvania, the niece of Jacqueline (née Love) and Irv Sagorsky, a car salesman. Pilar is her sister.

Keananan received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History and a minor in French from UCLA in 2002. Membership in the Golden Key International Honour Society and Phi Beta Kappa honor societies are among her academic honors.

Personal life

Acting career

She began modeling and appeared in print, radio, and television advertisements, as well as television advertisements for My Little Pony, Burger King, and Hershey's Kisses at age five. Keanan and her mother and sister moved to New York City, where they renamed her name to "Staci Love" and began to appear in summer stock. In the 1987 miniseries I'll Take Manhattan, she made her credited television debut.

Nicole Bradford appeared in the television show My Two Dads at the age of 12. She and her family migrated to Los Angeles shortly after, and she was cast as Nicole Bradford. The series ran from 1987 to 1990. She co-starred in the short-lived series Going Places with Alan Ruck, Heather Locklear, and Hallie Todd during the 1990-1991 season. Keananan was cast as Dana Foster in the television series Step by Step, which aired from 1991 to 1998. Keananan had changed her name from Staci to Stacy by 1997.

Keanan appeared in the short Stolen Poem (2004) and the films Hidden Secrets (2006), and Death and Cremation (2010) with Brad Dourif, Jeremy Sumpter, and Daniel Baldwin. Keananan appeared in Holyman Undercover in 2009, and she appeared in You Again in 2010 with Step By Step co-star Christine Lakin and Patrick Duffy. Sarah's Choice, a 2009 film, co-starred her.

Law career and teaching

In 2013, Keananan graduated from Southwestern Law School and was admitted to the State Bar of California. Anastasia Sagorsky, a Los Angeles suburb, now practices law under her given name. Keananan was a Deputy District Attorney in the Riverside County District Attorney's Office in 2014 prosecuting murder cases involving violent crime or death. Keananan was hired as a deputy district attorney in Los Angeles, where she now works. She became an Adjunct Associate Professor of Law at Southwestern Law School in January 2021. She gave a course on how to properly defend/defend driving under the influence (DUI) in 2022.
