Sophie Lowe (born 5 June 1990) is an English-born Australian actress and singer-songwriter.

She appeared in the films Beautiful Kate, Autumn Blood, After the Dark, Adore, and Road Kill, and starred in the television series Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, The Slap, The Returned, and The Beautiful Lie.

Early life

Lowe was born in Sheffield, Yorkshire, England, and moved to Australia with her family in 2000. In her early teens, she signed to Chadwick Models but quit modelling in favour of acting.

Lowe's first appearances were in the short films Kindle, in which she appeared in the lead role. Mirage, which was screened at the Montreal World Film Festival, and He. She is a teen from the United States. It's also included a number of television commercials before she graduated from The McDonald College in 2008.

Kate Lowe's first significant role in Beautiful Kate, which was released in 2009, was as the lead. She was nominated for an AFI Award for Best Lead Actress for her role in Beautiful Kate. Bonnie Wright, actress and After the Dark co-star, directed the music video for the song "Dreaming," one of the SOLO EP's songs. She renamed SOLO and appeared under her real name later in the performance. She released EP2, her second EP, in November 2015, with seven songs.

Lowe said she had a two-fold focus when speaking to the media in October 2015. She had free time between acting and playing, and she wanted to do as much music as she could. She has said that she would not give up acting for the sake of her burgeoning musical career. "I'm not acting because it's my life."
