Early life and education
Song was born in Dalian, Liaoning, and raised in a family with two older sisters. After watching the action film The New Legend of Shaolin starring Jet Li, Song Weilong developed an interest in classical martial arts at the age of 9. He attempted to experience wushu for a year in junior high school and then enrolled in Henan Province's Shaolin Tagou Martial Arts School.
Career
Song Weilong joined Yu Zheng Studio in 2015 and officially became an actor. He made his first appearance in Run for Time and later joined the talk show, Day Day Up. These appearances have heightened interest in Song in China.
He made his acting debut in Demon Girl II in 2016. He appeared in the Chinese-South Korean film Catman, as well as in Hong Kong cinematographer Cheung Kafai's youth film Passage of My Youth.
