  • Sky Brown is a Japanese skateboarder, surfer, TV personality, and social media star, best known as the world’s youngest professional skateboarder. At the age of 8, Sky was the youngest skateboarder that participated in the Vans US Open Pro Series in 2016, and in July 2017, attended the 1st ever Asian Vans Park Series Continental Championships in Singapore and ended up in 2nd place. Sky also joined the “Starting Lineup” of the Teck Deck skateboarding brand in 2018, which was in time for their 20th anniversary. Since she had dual citizenship, she could choose to skate for either Japan or Great Britain at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics after skateboarding was added for the 1st time as an official event, and she picked Great Britain.

Sky Brown, an Olympic bronze medalist skateboarder, is attempting to qualify for both skateboarding and surfing at the Paris 2024 Olympics. Brown, 15, will be the first British athlete to do so in over 100 years, but she will have to travel 10,000 miles between the two locations in two days if she does. The surfing competition is scheduled to be held in Tahiti from 27 July to August, while skateboarding will be held on August 6th at La Concorde's Urban Park in Paris.

Sky Brown, the Olympic bronze medalist, has earned the gold medal in skateboarding at the age of 14. Brown of the United Kingdom won gold in park skateboarding at the World Championships in Sharjah on Sunday, achieving a new personal record of 90.83 from her three runs. With a score of 89.63 from her second run, the teen was already at the top of the standings, but she didn't get her best until last to finish more than four points ahead of Japan's Kokona Hiraki.
