RYAN WILSON: There's always a bit of needle when Glasgow square up to Munster... but I can't take all the blame for the rivalry between these two!

www.dailymail.co.uk, June 13, 2024
MUNSTER will be most people's favourites to reach the URC final again but I'd give Glasgow Warriors a fighting chance of beating them in tomorrow's semi-final. Munster peaked at just the right time last season and did it the hard way by winning away from home in all three rounds of the play-offs. They've looked strong again this season, topping the regular season table and then getting the better of Ospreys in their quarter-final on Friday night. Munster could well be the team to stop again this year, especially with home advantage.

24-14 Munster, Northampton Saints: In the last-16 Champions Cup match, substitute George Hendy's late brace makes the difference... as hosts maintain their quest for a historic double

www.dailymail.co.uk, April 7, 2024
ALEX BYWATER AT FRANKLIN'S GARDENS: Northampton's supporters survived, and Saints director of rugby Phil Dowson said his team's supporters could have a dream of what could be a spectacular double. Dowson's men progressed to the quarter-finals after competing with Harlequins and Exeter in a thrilling European battle. In the last eight, Northampton will meet the Bulls of South Africa. Saints will unquestionably fancy their prospects. They are currently five points up on the Premiership table and will face the Bulls on Saturday night at home and have a great advantage over the Bulls.

After Benetton colleagues gave him a banana in club's Secret Santa, Traore suspects him of bigotry

www.dailymail.co.uk, December 21, 2022
Cherif Traore, Benetton's Guinea-born prop, has been rattled by a bigotry scandal after the club's Secret Santa revealed a banana. The 28-year-old, who arrived in Italy at the age of seven and has gained 15 caps in the front row for the Azzurri, has written a social media post announcing the sad tale. 'Christmas is coming,' and as usual in a team, it's Secret Santa time.' A banana was inside my present on yesterday, when it was my turn. A rotten banana is embedded in a bag of moisture.'
