"Tehila," a children's music group, formed at the age of 12. Maimon has appeared on the community channel several times. "Ilu hait" (If You Were) was a member of the band Teapacks in 2001. In the "Excite" nightclub in Eilat, she spent a year and a half as a singer, dancer, and bartender. She enrolled in the Performing Arts' Beit Zvi academy but left a short time after discovering that she had passed the auditions for the reality show "Kokhav Nolad."

Maimon enrolled in the first season of the then-new singing talent show "Kokhav Nolad" (Tzvika Hadar, the show's host and one of the judges during the auditions, has declined to judge her audition due to their previous acquaintance).
