Shiloh Thomas Fernandez (born February 26, 1985) is an American actor.
He is best known for his appearances in Jericho and the United States of Tara, as well as the 2013 version of Evil Dead, Red Riding Hood, and the 2013 version of Evil Dead.
Early life
Fernandez was born in Ukiah, California. His father is of half Portuguese and half Russian Jewish descent, whereas his mother is of British origins. He has a younger sister and a brother. His stepfather is a builder. Fernandez began serving as a dishwasher and an American Apparel catalog model for his then-fledgling business before becoming an actor. Career
Fernandez made his first television appearance in a 2006 episode of Cold Case, followed by minor roles in Drake & Josh and Lincoln Heights. His screen debut came two years later, in 2007, when he first appeared in Interstate as Edgar before returning to television. Sean Henthorn played in Jericho from 2006 to 2007. The show was cancelled after just one season, but supporters' campaign saw it revive for a second before being cancelled once more.
Fernandez auditioned for Catherine Hardwicke in her Venice Beach garage during Twilight's casting of Edward Cullen in 2008. Fernandez was reportedly Hardwicke's first pick, but Kristen Stewart was criticized for the last, according to them.
