Sharlene Santos San Pedro (born April 5, 1999), better known as Sharlene San Pedro, is a Filipino actress, singer, vlogger, VJ, and TV Host. She made her first television appearance at the age of four when she joined ABS-CBN's talent search Star Circle Quest: Kids Edition in 2004, and came in at second place.

She is known for portraying the roles of Gigi, Calla & Lily, and Shirley in the series Mga Anghel na Walang Langit, Calla Lily, and Luv U respectively.

She was also chosen among all the child actresses of ABS-CBN to reprise the role of Princess Sarah in 2007. San Pedro received her first acting award as the "Most Popular Child Actress" by the Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation in 2009.

In 2012, San Pedro was nominated in the 17th Asian Television Awards as Best Actress in a Lead-Drama Role for her portrayal as a teenage mother in the Maalaala Mo Kaya episode, "T-Shirt".

Sharlene San Pedro was born on April 5, 1999, in Pulilan, Bulacan to parents Hector, a business man, and Myleen. She has two brothers named Jeremy and Clark: the former being the oldest of the three, while the latter is the youngest. She attended Sto. Cristo Elementary School during kindergarten.

Career

San Pedro debuted on ABS-CBN in 2004 as a result of a reality-based talent competition Star Circle Quest. San Pedro had undergone preparation, physical development, and other challenges to put their talent abilities to the test.

Nash Airez, Aaron Junatas, Mikylla Ramirez, and CJ Navato all participated in the "Magic Circle of 5" with her fellow competitors Nash Aguirez, Aaron Junatas, Mikylla Ramirez, and CJ Navato. She was first runner-up during the 'Grand Questors Night' in Araneta Coliseum on June 5, 2004. She joined ABS-CBN as a member shortly after, earning her an exclusive deal. She began performing in Krystala in the same year, portraying the young Faith/Tala.

San Pedro was cast in Goin Bulilit, a newly launched sketch comedy gag show starring children in a variety of comedic situations in February 2005. She appeared in the main cast until 2011, before she graduated in 2011. The 'Seventh Batch Graduates,' including San Pedro, were turned down because the show is aimed at teenagers, despite the fact that they were already growing older.

San Pedro was revealed to be one of the year's top video jockeys, alongside Jairus Aquino. Ever since "[t]hey...]he won as the MYX Celebrity VJ Duo in the show's weekly online poll [in February 2015], their followers have expressed a keen interest in seeing them again on the music channel," a spokesperson for MYX Celebrity VJ Duo said. Both were also cast in Wansapanym's "Susi Ni Sisay" by Wenn V. Deramas. This was Deramas' last TV project before he died. San Pedro, who was still partnered with Aquino, was supposed to appear in Written in Our Stars as a supporting cast member, but the performance was postponed due to lead actress Toni Gonzaga's pregnancy announcement. They appeared in Langit Lupa, a noon-time drama series.

San Pedro began performing "Paraan" in 2016. The song is a retort of Mayonnaise's track from their album Tayo na Lang Dalawa, which was released in 2014. Monty Macalino, the band's lead singer, closely collaborated with her and encouraged her to pursue her singing career. Under Yellow Room's direction, Chuck Ronquillo produced an accompanying music video. At the 12th Myx Music Awards, she was named Favorite Remake Award. Stars & Caramel Bars, Shearberry's first indie band Sourberry's flagship cover single, appeared on "Stars & Caramel Bars" in 2017. San Pedro, who released two cover singles in 2016 and 2017, respectively, continued to pursue her musical career. She began a work with Ivory Music and Video in June 2018. "Pa'no Ang Lahat" and "Everything Will Be Alright" followed by music videos, she released two original singles, "Pa'no Ang Lahat" and "Everything Will Be Alright."
