Shaheer Sheikh Life

Shaheer Sheikh (born 26 March 1984) is an Indian lawyer, film actor, and model.

He is best known for his appearance in Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke, warrior Arjun in Mahabharat, and as Dev Dixit in Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi. The Indonesian Government selected Sheikh as the first Indian torch bearer of the 18th Asian Games on August 10th.

Early life

Sheikh was born in Bhaderwah, Doda, Jammu, and Kashmir, to Shahnawaz Sheikh and Dilshad Sheikh on March 26, 1984. Aleefa and Ifrah are two of his siblings. He has completed his education from Hari Singh Higher Secondary School, Jammu. He has completed his bachelor of Laws (L.L.B.). New Law College, Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune, Pune, Pune, India.

Personal life

Sheikh married Ruchika Kapoor on October 19th, 2020, after having celebrations in Jammu and Mumbai. Sheikh has been in love for almost two years. Kapoor is the Balaji Motion Pictures' marketing manager and senior vice president. They became parents to Anaya, a baby girl from September 2021.

Career

Since graduating L.L.B., he began working for a law firm, where he began his career as a photographer. He then turned to modeling.

Sheikh appeared in Kya Mast Hai Life in 2009, where he played Veer Mehra, a teen who loves music and playing guitar. Sheikh appeared in Jhansi Ki Rani as Nana Sahib, the brother of Rani of Jhansi who was replacing Satyajeet Dubey in the second season of the series.

Sheikh was offered to lead an evening of television show, Navya Dhadkan Naye Sawaal opposite Saumya Seth in 2011. He portrayed Anant Bajpai, a 19-year-old college boy who looks like every other urban kid, but inside, he is a traditionalist and a conformist. Sheikh, alongside Navya, appeared on Disney Channel's Best Of Luck Nikki as Ritesh in season 1 as Ritesh. Sheikh appeared in the telefilm version of Star Plus' show Teri Meri Love Stories opposite Mahhi Vij in 2012.

In 2013, he was signed Swastik Productions' Mahabharat. He starred Arjuna, an incredible archer, a king, and the third Pandava in the series, which ended in August 2014. He received a lot of praise for his work. He underwent several trainings, including fitness, horse riding, and weapons preparation for almost eight months for the series. Mahabharat was a major contributor and commercial success. According to reports, it had the highest GTVM ever recorded by any other serial in Indian television history. It was also popular in Indonesia, establishing Sheikh as the country's most popular 'SRK of the country.' Fans also adored his chemistry with his co-star Pooja Sharma, who portrayed Draupadi's role. After Mahabharat, he worked in Indonesia, making him even more famous there.

In 2014, he hosted Panah Asmara Arjuna, an Indonesian reality television, as well as a variety show The New Eat Bulaga. Indonesia and Mahabharat's costars are among his many Indonesian costars. With Marc Nelson, he co-hosted Asia's Got Talent in 2015. Nabila Syakieb and Ravi Bhatia co-starred in Cinta di Langit Taj Mahal, a calm and composed man. Sheikh earned a leading role in a romantic comedy film directed by Turis Romantis, opposite actress Kirana Larasati, in which he played Azan Khan, a tough and stunning tourist guide in Yogyakarta.

Sheikh made his return to Indian television in 2016 with Sony TV's critically acclaimed television program, Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi starring Erica Fernandes and Supriya Pilgaonkar. He starred Devrath Dixit (Dev), a young and profitable business tycoon. Sheikh's performance and his on-screen chemistry with Erica were lauded. The show returned for its second season in September 2017.

He appeared in several Indonesian television series alongside Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi. In Roro Jonggrang, as Salman in Malaikat Kecil Dari India as Prince Zamzaman Jinny Datang Lagi, as Rahul in Tuyul & Mba Reborn and in a guest appearance in I-KTP as Rahul. He also appeared in an Indonesian telefilm Namaku Yusuf in 2016, wherein he played the titular role of Yusuf.

He began working on his forthcoming Indonesian feature film Maipa and Datu Museng, an action-based periodic love story in which Sheikh played Datu Museng, a warrior. On January 11, 2018, the film was released. Salim Anarkali portrayed Salim in Colors TV's Dastaan-E-Mohabbat: Salim Anarkali. He was paired with Sonarika Bhadoria.

He appeared in Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke opposite Rhea Sharma from March 2019 to October 2020. Producer Rajan Shahi referred to his work as dynamic.

Annu Kapoor, Shilpa Shinde, Milind Soman, and Flora Saini appeared on Paurashpur's first web page. He resurrectled Dev Dixit in Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi 3 with Erica Fernandes in 2021. The story moved from where it had ended in the second season to where it had been going.

Pavitra Rishta: Its Never Too Late, a OTT film based on the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who played Manav in the first season, died in July. Shaheer stepped into his shoes, with some updates to the plot as well as character. It was published on September 15, 2021, receiving a lauding reaction from the audience, much to the present situation. Pavitra Rishta: It's Never Too Late 2.0 was published on January 28.

Sheikh appeared in Yatri Kripyan De, a short film starring Shweta Basu Prasad, in 2022. In Star Bharat's Woh Hai Albelaa opposite Hiba Nawab, he is seen as Krishna Choudhary since March 2022.
