Scott Mitchell Putesky (April 28, 1968 – October 22, 2017), also known as Daisy Berkowitz, was an American singer who performed with the lead guitarist and co-founder of the industrial metal band Marilyn Manson.

Daisy Duke of Hazzard and serial killer David Berkowitz were combining Daisy Duke from The Dukes of Hazzard.

He left the band on May 8, 1996, half way through the album of Antichrist Superstar.

Life

Scott Putesky was born in Los Angeles, California, and he was adopted and raised in New Jersey. His family is Jewish, but he referred to himself as an atheist. Putesky's first instruments were the flute and the snare drum, and in 6th grade he joined the school's chorus, for which he allegedly had a knack. When he was 15, he started playing the guitar. Drawing, movies, and Star Wars were among his childhood passions.
