Early life
Barrese was born in Maui, Hawaii, on April 24, 1981, to Katherine, a single mother. They travelled to Paris, France, where her mother worked as a model, returning to the United States in 1985. Her modeling career began early in her school years with companies including NEXT and Elite.
Personal life
Barrese began playing draw poker, backgammon, gin, and chess at a young age, adding, "I'm Russian, so I've been playing games my entire life." In May 2014, she announced that she intended to become a professional poker player. She has competed in many tournaments, including the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas in 2014.
