Sanjeev Kapoor (born 10 April 1964) is an Indian celebrity chef, entrepreneur and television personality.
Kapoor stars in the TV show Khana Khazana, which is the longest running show of its kind in Asia; it broadcasts in 120 countries and in 2010 had more than 500 million viewers.
He also launched his own Food Food channel, in January 2011.
Discovery Communications through its Indian organization, has acquired a majority stake in Kapoor's channel.
Early life and career
Kapoor was born in Ambala in April 1964 and spent his childhood in a number of North Indian cities. After completing the Diploma in Hotel Management from the Institute of Hotel Management Catering & Nutrition, Pusa, New Delhi, he started his career in hospitality in 1984. Kapoor is married to Alyona Kapoor, who is also a member of Turmeric Vision Pvt, a private company. (TVPL) Ltd.
After working in many hotels, such as Varanasi, New Zealand, etc., I'm sure this is the most memorable. In 1992, he became Mumbai's youngest Executive Chef. He is also the winner of the Indian Federation of Culinary Associations' Best Executive Chef of India Award and the Mercury Gold Award in Geneva, Switzerland.
