Personal life
Samina was born in Lahore to a well-educated Kashmiri Butt family but she was born in Karachi, Sindh Pakistan. After graduating in commerce, she decided to pursue a career in acting. Samina had a long career in television dramas and minor roles in television advertisements, and was in several films in starring roles.

Career
