A concertgoer has branded Boardmasters festival bosses a 'disgrace' after '10 people' fell on her in a crowd crush which left her with a fractured knee. Jade Brooks, 23, was attending the music festival in Newquay on Friday when the crush occurred which left her needing crutches, whilst others suffered broken bones and were covered in blood as they were 'submerged' beneath each other. Ms Brooks arrived at The Point stage an hour before DJ and producer Sammy Virji was due to start his set and says 'more and more people were flooding into' the arena in the time leading up to his performance. His show was eventually cancelled after two 'massive' crowd surges were reported, with some concertgoers even claiming speakers fell on to people. Boardmasters revealed that seven people were transferred to hospital following the crowd collapse with minor injuries and have now been discharged.
