Saida Karoli (born April 4, 1976) is a traditional Tanzanian singer and entertainer who has appeared on stage in Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, and the Democratic Republic. Karoli was born in 1976 in Rwongwe, a small village in Bukoba Rural district of northern Tanzania's Kagera Region on the western side of Lake Victoria.

On Tanzanian radio, "Maria Salome," a song from her debut album Chambua kama Karanga, debuted at number three in airplay.

Following the success of the album in Uganda, Wanchecha became a popular term in Uganda, Derived from the song's lyrics.

She has entertained the Kabaka of Buganda and appeared at the Sauti Za Busara Festival in Zanzibar.

She was nominated for many awards at the Kora All-African Music Awards in the last year. Karoli's music is described as natural with mellow vocals and hypnotically rhythmicism, which is in tune with the mellow vocals and hypnotically rhythmicism.
