Despite the fact that the series failed commercially, Qamar received a prize for Best TV Actress (Terrestrial) at the Lux Style Awards. "For me, acting is being able to express the emotions, feelings, and expressions of various people and characters," Qamar said in a previous interview with The Express Tribune.

In 2010, she appeared in a supporting role for Surraya in Hum TV's pre partition television series Dastaan, an extension of Razia Butt's novel Bano. She was seen opposite Ahsan Khan, Sanam Baloch, and Fawad Khan. At the Pakistan Media Awards (2009), she was a breakout star, winning the Best TV Actress award.

At the 16th Annual PTV awards, she received a nomination for Best Television Actress at Lux Style Awards on July 23rd. Bint-e-Adam's social drama on women was followed by a supporting role. Her role in the film was of a wealthy brat who falls for a boy from a poor background and marries him against her cruel father's wishes. Bint e Adam was a major critical and commercial success, but critics later said that her position was "limited" from an acting perspective.

Qamar performed in Sarmad Khoosat's romantic series Pani Jaisa Piyar (2011), where she played Sana, the son of her mother's best friend ever since she was a teenager. Adarsh, on the other hand, has been unaware of this engagement, because his parents believed he should be more concerned about his education than with wedding planning.
