Rose "Osang" Fostanes (born January 2, 1967) is a Filipina caregiver and singer living in Israel, who on January 14, 2014, won the first season of The X Factor Israel On April 10, 2014, she signed a record contract with Star Records to release her music material in the Philippines.

Her debut album My Way was released on June 8, 2014.

Singing career

Fostanes was the lead vocalist of a small bar in Neve Sha'anan, Tel Aviv.

On October 26, 2013, the Fostanes auditioned for X Factor, performing "This Is My Life," a Shirley Bassey song. All four judges gave her a "yes" vote. After being identified as a contestant on the show, Fostanes drew worldwide notice.

Fostanes appeared at bootcamp once more, earning a standing ovation from all the competitors. She made it to the top 20 and was named Shiri Maimon as a mentor.

Fostanes performed at "Concert For a Cause For Typhoon Yolanda" in Haifa, Israel, organised by the OFW in Israel Organization on November 23, 2013. In the Philippines, the festival raised funds for Typhoon Yolanda victims.

Fostanes was unable to work for compensation in Israel due to the conditions of her visa. When she was first given a singing license in Israel on January 20, 2014, the whole situation was changed.
