Roman Bernard Atwood (born May 28, 1983) is an American YouTube celebrity and prankster.

He is best known for his vlogs, in which he broadcasts news about his personal life.

"RomanAtwoodVlogs," his vlogging channel, has a total of 5 billion views and 15 million viewers.

YouTube's channel is currently the 50th most viewed channel on YouTube.

He also has "RomanAtwood," where he posts pranks, but he has been inactive on it for almost two years.

His prank videos have attracted over 1.4 billion views and 10.4 million viewers.

Both of these channels are in the top ten most watched on YouTube, and he became the second YouTuber after Germán Garmendia that was given two Diamond Play Buttons for his two channels.

Personal life

Atwood, who was born in Millersport, Ohio, has been filming and editing videos since high school. He was born to Curt Dale Atwood and Susan Atwood. He began his independent work by releasing "The Nerd Herd," a DVD set that he sold at the Warped Tour in 2006. Atwood has also worked on various film projects and commercials in Columbus, Ohio, before deciding to concentrate on his love of comedy and launched the YouTube channel "Sketch Empire."

He spent time at "Atwood Rope" (his family's rope factory before his YouTube work. Shanna Riley, who gave birth to Atwood's first son, Noah Vaughn Atwood, was born in 2001. He filed for divorce in 2008 after his wife cheating on him with a pal while on vacation.

Atwood's "Smile More" clothing line began in 2013 and sold T-shirts, hoodies, bracelets, and other items.

Kane Alexander Atwood (born October 23, 2011) and his sister, Cora Atwood (born July 16, 2017), live in his hometown. Atwood was visiting Smith at the wedding of his friend, Chase Gilroy, where Roman was his best man in 2008. Smith is the sister of Gilroy's wife, Veronica, and the two of them began dating from there. On April 30, 2018, Atwood proposed to Smith, and the two married in Maui, Hawaii, on July 27, 2018.

Susan Atwood, Atwood's mother, died unexpectedly while on vacation with the entire Atwood family on May 29, 2019. Atwood took time out of his social media presence to grieve for his mother.

Following posting a video on New Year's Eve of 2019, Atwood underwent a significant period of inactivity on social media for an undisclosed cause. He posted a video on August 18, 2020, in which he welcomed his followers and said that although he did not know the reason for his absence, he wanted to inform followers that he and his families were fine, and that several conspiracy-style videos mocking his absence were all inaccurate. The Atwoods revealed that they were expecting a fourth child two days after they's absence, but that it was not the reason for their absence.

Atwood released a video titled "Welcome to the world" on January 11, 2021. Knox Atwood, the family's son, was born five days earlier on January 6, weighing in at just under 9 pounds, in which he and Brittney announced that he and Brittney revealed it.

Atwood fills his house with plastic balls 2.5 ft high, transforming it into a massive ball pit. This video was released on January 18, 2015, and now has over 86 million views. Nissan gave him a 2015 Nissan GTR in exchange for their use of his image in the "WithDad" commercial during Nissan's half-time commercial at Super Bowl XLIX. For the 5th Streamy Awards, this was named the best "Brand Campaign" for the 5th Streamy Awards.

"Anniversary Prank Backfires!" Jim's film "Anniversary Prank Backfires!!" Over 86 million views have been posted since November 20, 2013. On their five-year anniversary of Atwood's pranking Smith, who admitted that he had cheated on her. When she sees the camera before, she laughs him back and pranks him back by pretending she has cheated on him. After a few seconds of Atwood's reaction angrily to the news, she only reveal her own prank. Smith says, "I was going to propose" at the end of the video.

"Killing My Own Kid PRANK!" says the prank. "Italian is a website that was published on November 30, 2014, and it now has more than 50 million views. According to the video, Atwood pranks Smith by throwing a mannequin in a Spider-Man costume, pretending it was their son Kane. Smith runs to the mannequin, stripping it of its mask immediately, finding that it was not Kane and not the mannequin. As Atwood enters the room snickering at her, she bursts into tears. She storms away but Atwood asks her, "Is she really that mad?" she says. She starts screaming at him and informs him she's "sleeping on the couch." During Atwood and Smith's appearance on the reality TV show Tanked, where Smith revealed that Atwood did indeed sleep on the couch that night.

During the filming of a prank where he pretended to rob an ATM in public, Roman and his accomplices were arrested by the Columbus Police Department for inducing panic and disorderly conduct. He was released on bail and was summoned to court. The lawsuit was highly contested, with his allies attending court to help and watch the proceedings unfold. He was granted the case as a defendant on the grounds of artistic expression and freedom of expression, and the lawsuit was settled.

"INSANE Toilet Paper PRANK!" a video says. More than 20 million views have been posted on March 15, 2015, up from 20 million. Howie Mandel's house was prank on Atwood toilet papering, with the help of Mandel's son, Alex.

Mandel later discussed the prank on an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! The father's day and the cleanup, as well as his son's.

Vitaly Zdorovetskiy and Dennis Roady produced Natural Born Pranksters, a film that has received little critical attention in 2016. Neither Rotten Tomatoes nor Metacritic have collected enough reviews to even give the film a score.

The film was released on Netflix on September 24, 2016.

On July 1, 2016, Atwood and his family appeared on "Internet Tank Sensation" on Tanked. In Atwood's Atwood's office for Smile More, Brett and Wayde design a customised tank.

"Roman vs. Fousey" was launched by Atwood and YouTuber Yousef Erakat in 2016. They have appeared in North America, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

Business career

Atwood's "Smile More" clothing line began in 2013 and sold T-shirts, hoodies, bracelets, and other items. Atwood and his wife were the sole source of merchandise at the time, with orders being processed in their basement.

Atwood's company moved to its own building, which is located on the same property as his residence, in 2016. To help process orders faster and in-house, Atwood recruited more employees, some of whom were family.

Smile More will be relocated entirely to Texas in a partnership with longtime friend and business partner Matt Carriker and his company, Bunker Branding, on May 7, 2022. Atwood and his wife would also be branded Bunker Branding, according to the company.

On October 26, 2021, Atwood introduced the first NFT of his Smile More collection on OpenSea. The collection was created in collaboration with several artists.

Following Smile More's departure to Texas, Atwood and his wife announced that they would be acquiring Bunker Branding, a long-time friend of Matt Carriker's business.
