Robert Fredrick Paulsen III (born March 11, 1956) is an American voice actor and singer who has appeared in many films, television shows, and video games, including Raphael and Donatello from the 1987 and 2012 cartoons respectively of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Attitude and Pinky and the Brain, Otto Scratchansniff; Martin Wheezer of Jimmy Neutron; Peck the Rooster from Barnyard; and the title character from The Mask: Animated Series; and Pinky and the Brain's Jacob Hedgeford.

In total, Paulsen has been the voice of over 250 different animated characters and appeared in over 1000 commercials.

He was given a Daytime Emmy Award for his contribution as Pinky as well as three Annie Awards.

Early life

Rob Paulsen was born in Detroit, Michigan, on March 11, 1956, the son of Bob and Lee Paulsen. He was born in Grand Blanc, Michigan, where he graduated from Grand Blanc High School in 1974. He performed in choirs throughout his youth and adolescence, as well as in school, but Gordie Howe, ice hockey player, was his childhood idol, but he felt the arts were a secondary career choice due to his primary interest in becoming an NHL player. He briefly attended the University of Michigan-Flint, but later dropped out and moved to Los Angeles in 1978 to pursue a career in show business, much to his father's disapproval. He did his first stint as a guitarist before going into full-time for voice acting.

Personal life

Carol Anne Schnarr, his ex-wife, was married on June 23rd, 1979. In 1982, the two married. Parrish Todd, his current wife, and he and his brother have one son. He and his family reside in Agoura Hills, California.

Paulsen has long been involved in various charities and has raised funds for cancer research. He has worked for GOALmodels, a youth development service, and he is a sponsor of Camp Will-A-Way, a camp for children with developmental disabilities. He also contributes to the Wounded Warrior Project and Operation Smile. He was diagnosed with stage III throat cancer in February 2016. Paulsen's first voice acting gig came in 1983 with the mini-series G.I. Joe: Where he played Snowjob and Tripwire, he's a Real American Hero. A few years later, his career took on new roles such as Cobra Slavemaster and Revitalizing Snow Job, as well as "Tripwire" on G.I. In "Boober" on the animated version of Fraggle Rock, Hadji's new Adventures of Jonny Quest and the villain Jesse Blue on Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs, Joe, Corky on The Snorks, Marco Smurf on the later seasons of The Snorks, Marco Smurf.

Paulsen also investigated live action films in the 1980s. Eyes of Fire, his first film, was released in 1983. On the Bounty, he appeared in Body Double, Stewardes School, Warlock, and Mutant. During this period, he appeared on television shows as well, including MacGyver and St. Elsewhere, I'm an Elsewhere. Paulsen's success in television marketing made him more popular. In the 1980s, he had been the announcer for the sitcom Cheers and went on to land roles as an announcer. He appeared as Mr.'s voice.' Opportunity, on television and radio, to be able to support Honda commercials on television and radio, as well as the spokesman for Lucky Stores, a West Coast grocery store chain chain that was sold by Albertsons in 1998. From 1996 to mid-97, he was the voice of Dog in the Taco Bell kids meal advertisements, with Eddie Deezen as the voice of Nacho the cat.

In the beginnings of Samurai Jack, he was also the voice of Rothchild. In addition, Paulsen was the voice of P.J.
