Ricky Horror Life

Motionless in White, also abbreviated MIW, is an American metal band from Scranton, Pennsylvania.

Chris "Motionless" Cerulli (lead guitar), Ryan Sitkowski (lead guitar), Ricky "Horror" Olson (rhythm guitar), Vinny Mauro (drums), and Justin Morrow (bass).

The band has claimed that the name of their band derived from the Eighteen Visions song "Motionless and White."Motionless in White's first three studio albums were released on May 5, 2017, via Roadrunner Records; their fourth album, Graveyard Shift, was released on May 5, 2017.

Disguise, the band's most recent fifth album, was released on June 7, 2019.

Formation and early years (2004–2009)

Members Chris Motionless, who played guitar and lead vocals, Angelo Parente on drums, Frank Polumbo on drums, and Kyle White on bass were among the first in White to play drums. The band was known as "One Way Ticket" and then as "When Breathing Stops" for the remainder of 2004 for their first two shows at the Northeast Fair in Pittston, PA. They settled on their new name on New Year's Day of 2005. Poison the Well, Slipknot, Marilyn Manson, Johnny Cash, Depeche Mode, and other musical artists have been praised by Chris Motionless and other musicians. They debuted their self-distributed demo in 2005.

Josh Balz, the band's keyboardist, was promoted to lead vocals within a year after its debut as the band's keyboardist, and Michael Costanza and Thomas "TJ" Bell were recruited as the band's new guitarists, with Chris Motionless confined to lead vocals. Zach Neil discovered the band while performing at The Staircase, a local nightclub. Neil joined the band first as a member and then as a member of Masquerade Records. They released their first EP The Whorrror, a Zach Neil and mixed album, and the Warner Music group released it in 2007 as a part of the Masquerade Recordings/Warner music company.

Motionless in White had written enough songs to complete a full length album after touring in support of The Whorrror. When Love Met Destruction, the album was released. Love Met Destruction began in 2008 at Soundmine recording studio but was released by Dave Cutrone and Zach Neil the same year as Masquerade Recordings. Neil brought the band to his stage on the Warped Tour with the latest album in hand, and the band immediately caught the band's attention, according to Shawn Milke of Alesana, who promised to handle the band. Fearless Records' Bob Becker called Zach Neil shortly thereafter to ask for the band's recording deal and resign the band's to Fearless. The band and Neil agreed, and Tragic Hero was given the first official release to help the band advance in the run-up to their Fearless debut. The band had never been signed to Tragic Hero Records, but they never paid for it.

Michael Costanza, a guitarist, was fired, and current guitarist Ryan Sitkowski was brought on to fill his place. Despite being signed to Fearless in the months leading up to the release of When Love Met Destruction, an EP version was sold by Tragic Hero on February 17, 2009. "Ghost in the Mirror" was released as the band's first ever album and had a music video made for it.

bassist Frank Polumbo left Motionless in White due to unknown reasons, leaving Bellevue, Washington native Ricky "Horror" Olson as the company's new permanent bassist in October 2009. Motionless in White debuted in the studio in May 2010 and released their debut full-length Creatures with Andrew Wade as the chosen producer. "Abigail," Revolver Magazine's first single, debuted on September 30 and was the first day on iTunes. A music video for the song was released a few months after, as well as following music videos over the next two years for title track "Immaculate Misconception" and a live music video for "Puppets (The First Snow), which was shot during the band's summer on The All Stars Tour in 2011.

Creatures were introduced by Fearless on October 12, 2010 and claimed the 175th position on the Billboard Top 200 charts, with No. 1 and No. On the Heatseekers chart, there are 6 spots.

Thomas Joseph "TJ" Bell, a guitarist, was fired from the band on Wednesday, May 4, 2011. Bell's explanation was that while he was handling bass replacement duties for Escape the Fate, he was scheduled to meet with the remainder of the Motionless in White in Orlando, Florida, by the tour's end. Bell was left in the middle of Motionless in White's tour schedule to fill-in as a bassist for Escape the Fate, but he did not tell the rest of the participants early enough in advance that he would not be available during those weeks. Due to this situation, the band was forced to be without their rhythm guitars during their appearances. "If our live performance didn't heavily depend on two guitarists, it wouldn't have been a big deal to us," White said. Unfortunately, we have one guitarist in a band like ours, which causes your show to suffer greatly." We decided to let TJ go," as well as an explanation of how they had many disagreements with Bell throughout their time as a band.

Olson moved from playing bass to rhythm guitar after Bell's departure, which culminated in the band's in-audition for a new bassist. Following Olson's departure from rhythm guitar to rhythm guitar, a man with an unknown name began playing bass and was eventually confirmed as Devin Sola, a replacement bassist. Sola was officially announced as the band's new bassist on November 27, 2011.

Motionless in White contributed to the Kerrang in early 2012. Metallica's Black Album: "My Friend of Misery" was the song on the album.

Motionless in White decided on a very wide variety of sounds and styles for Infamous because they were developed by two separate designers. It was then announced that Infamous would be produced by Jason Suecof and drummer Tim Sköld. "Devil's Night" was the first single on the album released on September 25. "If It's Dead, We'll Kill It" was released on October 9, the band's second single "If It's Dead, We'll Kill It." The music video for "Devil's Night" was released on November 13, 2012, as well as the complete album. Infamous debuted at No. 1 on the charts at the beginning of the year. No. 53 on the Billboard 200, No. 51. No. 19 on Top Rock Albums, No. No. 9 on Top Independent Albums, and No. The fifth place on the top hard rock albums is 5 on Top Hard Rock Albums.

Angelo Parente, a motionless drummer, who has been touring since I was 17, and everything else that comes with being a member of a band has finally caught up with me,' he wrote.' He has left the band on good terms, and there are no signs of internal divides. On April 23, 2013, Brandon Richter of 'The Witch Was Right' was announced as the replacement drummer. Chris Motionless was the band's last original member until this point.

The band's third single, "America," was released on April 23, as well as a lyric video. The single was released on June 3, a slipknot percussionist Shawn Crahan's first film on the single. Chris Fehn, a Slipknot percussionist, appeared in the film as well. Motionless in White unveiled the Deluxe Edition of Infamous on June 11, 2013, with remixed and remastered versions of all of the original tracks, as well as two new songs, remixed by Celldweller, Combichrist, and Ricky Horror, as well as two new songs, remixed drums by Richter.

At the 2013 Mayhem Festival, Motionless in White performed.

The band announced a short headlong tour in March with The Plot in You, Like Moths to Fire, and The Defiled, with For Today appearing in San Antonio. Following the tour, the band will return to the studio to work on Infamous, their follow-up to their 2012 album.

Motionless in White was confirmed to appear on the Vans Warped Tour on the main stage on February 5. The band revealed on the same day that they would be covering "Du Hast" by Rammstein for the Punk Goes... compilation collection, Punk Goes 90s Vol. 2. Brandon Richter, a drummer, issued a statement that he would no longer be a member of the band, but he has thanked all of the help he has earned and has left on positive terms, although he will not give out any concrete reasons for leaving the band.

Chris Motionless said in an interview with Rock Sound magazine that recording the third album was much simpler than Infamous because "the timeframe worked against me," he said, and there was an internal conflict going on, trying to change to a different style of music and making a lot of mistakes as I went." The album's sound, he said, would have the same ferociousness' that 'Creatures' lacked in, as well as a more modern look.

Reincarnate, the band's third studio album, was revealed on social media on April 23, 2014, with a planned release date of September 16, 2014. The band has announced that they will continue to be a quintet and that they will continue to be touring and session drummers.
