People aged over 18 will be able to drink psilocybin and psilocin, which are found in many species of fungi that cause a hallucinogenic effect if present in smaller amounts than four ounces, as shown on Senate Bill 242, which was tabled by Democrats Rochelle Nguyen and Fabian Donate. It would also encourage research facilities to request MDMA licenses from state officials in order to perform studies on MDMA - often described as 'ecstasy' or'molly' for the purpose of obtaining medical insurance benefits. Following several research that showed that the drugs were effective in relieving mental disorders, the amended bill was tabled just weeks after Australian authorities approved the prescribing of both psilocybin and MDMA to treat PTSD and depression. If it passes, Nevada will become Nevada's third state to authorize the use of psilocybin, which is listed as a Schedule I drug under the Convention on Psychotropic Substances, behind Oregon and Colorado.

To help students recognize them in the event of an emergency, Texas is giving out ID cards to K-8 students to help them quickly identify them

www.dailymail.co.uk, October 18, 2022
Just months after 19 girls were killed inside an elementary school in the Lone Star State, public school districts across Texas began giving out identification kits to students. The new program came from a bill that had been passed before the horrors that had unfolded inside Robb Elementary School in May, but some parents are still worried about the possibility. The kits include a fingerprint, a spot for salivary, and a location for parents to get a physical description of their child. In the case of an emergency such as a shooting or if a child goes missing, parents are expected to hold onto the card and commit it to law enforcement.

Rudy Giuliani comitted that he'got nothing' from his attempts to uncover the Bidens in Ukraine after working with a convicted Russian agent in an attempt to smear Joe Biden during the 2020 presidential campaign, according to a new book. In a text message to Lev Parnas, a Ukrainian associate who would be later found guilty of campaign finance fraud, former President Barack Obama's personal counsel made the admission. Journalist Andrew Kirtzman writes in a new biography, Giuliani: The Rise and Tragic Fall of America's Mayor. Despite daily calls from Trump who became 'obsessed' with them, Giuliani confessed that allegations against the Bidens were "very weak" and "not consistent with the facts."
