Richard Robert Rucco (born March 2, 1972) is an American television and film actor best known for his lead role in the sitcom Two Guys and a Girl (originally titled Two Guys, a Girl, and a Pizza Place).

Early life

Ruccolo was born in Marlton, New Jersey. He attended Cherokee High School in Evesham Township, New Jersey. Ruccolo discovered his passion for acting while playing lead in the high school's production of Oklahoma. Since graduating, he went to Los Angeles to find work as an actor. Ruccolo slept on his friend's couch until he found jobs during his auditions.

Personal life

Tiffani Thiessen, a Bell actor, was once engaged to Ruccolo. When Thiessen guest appeared in numerous episodes of Two Guys and a Girl in 2000, they met. In March 2003, the couple's relationship came to an end. Lauren Rees was married in 2008 after she married him.

Career

Gradually Ruccolo began to appear in such dramas as Beverly Hills, 90210, and The X-Files. He appeared in nationally televised commercials for Wendy's, Skittles, and 7 Up. However, Ruccolo was not recognized until 1998. Pete Dunville appeared on the sitcom Two Guys and a Girl, and Ruccolo discovered fame as Pete Dunville. Ruccolo appeared in All Over the Guy, The One, Missing in the United States, and Anacardium when the series was cancelled in 2001. He appeared in three episodes of Joey as Glen in 2005.

Ruccolo appeared in the Lifetime sitcom Rita Rocks in 2008 and 2010.
