The Menu fans joke that the film is responsible for the closing of the world's best restaurant

www.dailymail.co.uk, January 15, 2023
Menu followers are joking that the film is to blame for closing down one of the world's most innovative restaurants after its chef announced that it would be closing in 2023. Rene Redzepi, 45, is widely regarded as one of the world's best chefs, and his kitchen alchemy Noma has been named as the world's best restaurant five times. In 2024, he said that his Copenhagen flagship restaurant, which opened in 2003, would become a huge test kitchen called Noma 3.0 - only opening in 2025 for short periods at a time.

Chef Rene Redzepi says that the world's best restaurant, Noma in Copenhagen, is about to close

www.dailymail.co.uk, January 10, 2023
Rene Redzepi, a Michelin-starred chef who has won three Michelin awards and has seen Noma win the World's Best Restaurant award five times, says it's'scary' to announce that the Copenhagen restaurant will close at 2023, with a massive test kitchen set to open in 2025. He criticized the pressures of being in fine dining, and said, "As soon as the pandemic struck, I had the feeling that something new was in order."
