Life and career

Rebecca Anna Wattenberg was born in New York City, the niece of Rachel Gutman and real estate attorney Judah Wattenberg. She was the elder sister of writer Ben J. Wattenberg and aunt of journalist Daniel Wattenberg. She was married to Gene Schull, with whom she had three children from 1951 to 2008.

Schull spent time in the United States and Dublin, Ireland. Fay Cochran, the ticket agent for a one-plane Nantucket Island airline on the long-running 1990s NBC sitcom Wings (1990-1997), may be best known as Fay Cochran, the ticket agent for a one-plane Nantucket Island airline.

Schull appeared Fefu in Fefu's first off-broadway in 1977. In the 1976 Broadway revival of Herzl, she played the nursemaid. Schull has appeared on television shows including Roseanne, Order & Order: Criminal Intent, Frasier, My Life, Analyze This, Flannel Pajamas, and Little Children. She appeared on numerous soap operas from 1982 to 1983. She appeared on USA Network's drama Suits from 2011 to 2012, when her character died; she has since appeared in flashback scenes.

Schull was a regular cast member of ABC Family's Chasing Life, which ran from 2014 to 2015.

Schull appeared on Rose on the Amazon series Crisis in Six Scenes, written and directed by Woody Allen in 2016.

Claire in the film The Last, written and directed by Jeff Lipsky, appeared in 2019.
