Reb Beach Career

Career

He performed in Fiona's backing band and became a versatile studio musician, including Howard Jones, Chaka Khan, The Bee Gees, Twisted Sister, and Roger Daltrey, among other things, demonstrating Beach's ability to adapt to many musical styles.

He was introduced to Kip Winger while doing Fiona, who was touring with Alice Cooper at the time. They formed the band Sahara soon after, along with Rod Morgenstein and Paul Taylor, which was later renamed to Winger.

In the Heart of the Young (1988) and Pull (1993), Winger recorded and toured in favor of three albums, Winger (1988), In the Heart of the Young (1990) and Pull (1993). In addition, the band has released a number of hit songs, including "Seventeen," "Madalaine," "Headed for a Heartbreak," and "Miles Away."

Beach first joined Alice Cooper's band and later replaced George Lynch in the heavy metal band Dokken after Winger disbanded in the mid-1990s. He produced one studio album named Erase the Slate, as well as a live DVD called Live from the Sun, with Dokken.

He was also involved with Sega as he produced the soundtrack for the video game Daytona USA 2.

Beach has been active in a number of recording and touring projects since leaving Dokken, Australia. In addition to sporadic touring with Winger, he also produced Masquerade, a solo effort in 2002. He has been a member of David Coverdale's latest iteration of Whitesnake since 2002, and he has been the longest-serving guitarist/member of the band to this day, excluding Coverdale.

The Mob with King's X frontman dUg Pinnick and Night Ranger drummer Kelly Keagy culminated in a single self-titled album that was released in 2005.

In 2006, a reformed Winger released their first studio recording in over a decade, IV.

He replaced Jeff Watson in Night Ranger for a string of dates in Japan and the United States, but announced his resignation in January 2008.

He divides his time between Winger and Whitesnake, who released Better Days Comin' in 2014 and the latter's The Purple Album in 2015. Both groups are on tour.

Reb is a natural performer at making multiple rock riffs at a time, but he's often unable to recall them later.

In the early 1990s, Ibanez guitars built his signature RBM models (stands for Reb Beach Model). He mainly used custom models from luthier Suhr Guitars on the 2005 Whitesnake reunion tour.
