Ram Kapoor (ram kpu) is an Indian actor who appears in film and television serials. In the television series Kasamh Se and the role of Ram Kapoor in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, he gained fame portraying Jai Walia. In the Bollywood film Humshakals, Amar Nath Singh (KANS), Johnny and Balbir, and Balbir, he appeared in three roles. Rakhi Ka Swayamwar, based loosely on The Bachelorette, was hosted by Rakhi Ka Swayamwar.

Early life and education
He spent his formative years at Sherwood College in Nainital, Uttarakhand. When Kapoor was introduced to acting as a challenge and a directive from his head captain, he auditioned for the annual school theatre performance of Charley's Aunt and played the lead role. Kapoor discovered his passion for acting under his tutelage and guidance.
Kapoor attended the Kodaikanal International School after completing his 10th board exams. Kapoor wanted to attend UCLA to study filmmaking after his graduation and moved to Los Angeles, California, but instead, he attended a Stanislavski-based acting academy.

Kapoor is married to actor Gautami Kapoor (née Gadgil) and he's married to his Ghar Ek Mandir costar and actress Gautami Kapoor. They appeared on the set of the film and dated for a while before marrying on Valentine's Day in 2003. They have two children.
Career
Kapoor made his onscreen debut with the television show Nyay (1997). Heena (1998), Sangharsh (1999), and Kavita (2000) were among Heena's three more shows.
Kapoor appeared in the well-known family drama Ghar Ek Mandir in 2000. Kapoor appeared with Amir Raza Hussein once more in the play The Fifty Days of War – Kargil, which ran in New Delhi for ten days as a tribute to the Kargil War's veterans. Ram was a playwright who was played by five characters.
