Early life
Tyquian Bowman was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia. As a youth, he showed an early interest in music. He spent time in juvenile detention facilities as a youth and was released in October 2017. He had to return to full time to pursue music at that time. He was also a member of the Rollin's 60s Neighborhood Crips in Savannah and Atlanta during his teenage years.
His stage name, "Quando," is a play on his name. Rajon Rondo, a basketball player, is also a fan. Chief Keef grew up listening to him.
Career
He released the album "I Remember" featuring rapper Lil Baby in January 2018. He matched that up with the introduction of "Motivation" and "Paradise." On YouTube, the videos for all three songs attracted millions of views. Life B4 Fame, his first mixtape, was released on April 17, 2018. The album included "ABG" as well as songs with guest verses from Lil Baby, Lil Durk, and OMB Peezy. In the first two days of being released, MyMixtapez had 1 million streams.
Quando Rondo released the single "Kiccin' Shit" in June 2018. Never Broke Again, LLC, YoungBoy Never Broke Again's Atlantic Records imprint, was revealed later this month. "I Am Who They Say I Am" was a YoungBoy song released in August of that year. Kevin Gates was also on the YoungBoy version "I Am Who They Say I Am." Quando Rondo was featured on three of YoungBoy Never Broke Again's four tracks throughout the month.
Quando Rondo's second mixtape, Life After Fame, was released on September 24, 2018. The album featured guest verses from YoungBoy Never Broke Again, Rich Homie Quan, and Boosie Badazz. On select tour dates in the United States on their "Global Gangin" tour, which was set to end in December 2018, he began for SOB X RBE.
Quando Rondo released the single "Scarred From Love" on his third mixtape, From the Neighborhood to the Stage, on February 10, 2019. On January 10, 2020, QPac, his debut studio album, was released.
Quando unveiled his fourth mixtape, Still Taking Risks, on May 7, 2021, after months of controversies surrounding his suspected participation in King Von's death. There are no features on the mixtape, which includes 15 songs and three bonus tracks.
