Peyton List (born August 8, 1986) is an American actress and professional model best known for her appearances on Mad Men, FlashForward, The Tomorrow People, and Frequency.

She began working on daytime television, playing Lucy Montgomery on CBS soap opera As the World Turns from 2001 to 2005, then shifted to primetime, where she appeared on the short-lived dramas Windfall (2006) and Big Shots (2007). List appeared in AMC's Mad Men from 2008 to 2013.

She has appeared in The Greatest Game Ever Played (2005), Shuttle (2009), and Meeting Evil (2012).

List appeared in the short-lived science fiction dramas FlashForward (ABC, 2009–2010), and The Tomorrow People (The CW, 2013–2014).

She appeared in The CW drama series Frequency from 2016-2017.

In 2018, she appeared in season 3 of the science fiction film Colony.

Ivy Pepper/Poison Ivy in the Fox crime drama series Gotham (1992–2019).

Early life

List was born in Boston, Massachusetts, to Douglas List and Sherri Anderson, but she and her sister Brittany List grew up in Baltimore, Maryland. She began her education at Cedarcroft Pre-school and Calvert School, then moved to Baltimore's Roland Park Country School. She studied ballet at the School of American Ballet in New York City.

She began as a model at the age of nine and began her modeling career. In Washington Square, she made her first commercial appearance as one of the "daughters next door" (along with her sister).

In 2000, List appeared in Sex and the City, a minor role. Lucy Montgomery appeared on CBS soap opera As the World Turns for a small amount of time in an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Lucy Lane appeared in an episode of Smallville in 2005 and then reprised her role on the final season in 2010. She appeared on Without a Trace, CSI: Miami, and One Tree Hill in the same year.

As Tally Reida, List appeared on the NBC drama Windfall as a series regular in 2006. After one season, the show was cancelled, but List appeared on the short-lived ABC drama Day Break. List appeared in another ABC series named Big Shots, in which she played Cameron Collinsworth, the daughter of Dylan McDermott's character, during the 2007 pilot season. After one season, the series was also cancelled. In addition, List appeared on numerous television shows, including Moonlight, Ghost Whisperer, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Monk, Hawaii Five-0, and House of Lies. List appeared on AMC's Mad Men from 2008 to 2013, playing Don Draper's fill-in secretary who later became Roger Sterling's second wife. List appeared on another ABC show FlashForward from 2009 to 2010, as Nicole Kirby. She appeared in the film The Greatest Game Ever Played (2005), Shuttle (2008), and Meeting Evil (2011).
