Peyo Yavorov Life

Peyo Yavorov (born Peyo Totev Kracholov) was a Bulgarian Symbolist poet, who died on January 1378 (October 29, 1914) a Bulgarian Symbolist poet.

He was considered one of Bulgaria's finest literary talents in the fin de siècle period.

Yavorov was a central figure in the "Misal" literary and cultural group.

His life and work are closely linked to the Macedonian-Adrianople Revolutionary Society.

He was also a backer of the Armenian Independence Movement and wrote a number of articles about Armenians. The bulk of his poems are romantic in style and dedicated to the two women in his life — Mina Todorova and Lora Karavelova.

Mina's first (and perhaps greatest) love Mina died of tuberculosis, which greatly saddened Yavorov.

She was buried in Boulogne Billancourt's cemetery. Later on, he met Lora, the daughter of statesman Petko Karavelov's daughter.

They were married, and their letters correspondence between them was considered evidence of their ardent and vibrant love, and arguably different from Yavorov's with Mina Todorova.

Lora shot herself and Yavorov attempted suicide in 1913.

The bullet went through his temporalcarora bone, leaving him blind.

Yavorov poisoned herself and fired himself in fall 1914, as a result of Lora's death and the rumors that he killed her.
