De la Huerta is best known for her appearances in the films The Cider House Rules (1999), A Walk to Remember (2006), Enter the Void (2008), Nurse 3D (2013), and Lucy Danziger in the HBO drama series Boardwalk Empire.

Early life

De la Huerta was raised by her mother and her older sister in SoHo, a Lower Manhattan neighborhood. Her parents, Judith Bruce, are a Spanish nobleman named 'Igo de la Huerta y Ozores, 14th Duke of Mandas, Grandee of Spain, and Judith Bruce.
