A woman pleaded for her boyfriend to be taken into hospital the day before he stabbed her 57 times, an inquiry heard. Joanne Gallacher, 33, was so concerned for James Kennedy , 37, that she contacted an NHS mental health unit to ask for help. But no action was taken after senior charge nurse Paul Thomson said he could not discuss Kennedy's treatment without his permission.
Since receiving JK Rowling's help, the Top Gear and Poirot music composer was fired by his OWN firm

A Bafta-nominated composer (right) who said he accepted JK Rowling (left) because of his views (top inset) on gender rights was dismissed by his own £55.1 million firm. In an online article, Christian Henson, 50, who made television hits including Top Gear, Poirot, and Inside No. 9, endorsed Harry Potter author and Father Ted writer Graham Linehan. Mr Henson, a composer who founded Spitfire Audio, said: "I can no longer keep my mouth shut about this." I'm in complete agreement with Glinner and JK Rowling. Please take a look at this.' The Harry Potter author herself was able to support him in his book (lower inset).
