Paul Christian Scheer (born January 31, 1976) is an American actor, comedian, writer, producer, and podcaster.Scheer is best known as the co-creator and one of the popular MTV sketch series Human Giant's co-creator and one of the principal characters, as well as the Adult Swim comedy-action parody series NTSF:SUV:

Early life and education
Scheer was born in Huntington, New York, to Gail Ann (Decarlo) and William Paul Scheer. Scheer attended Catholic schools throughout his childhood and graduated from St. Anthony's High School. Personal life
Scheer lives in Los Angeles and is married to actress-writer June Raphael. They first met in January 2004, when Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre's artistic director, Casey Wilson, brought Scheer in to advise Raphael and her comedian partner Casey Wilson on how to elevate their UCB two-woman sketch show and started dating shortly afterward. In 2006, the couple moved from New York to Los Angeles. Scheer and Raphael married at the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History in October 2009. Jack Nicholson impersonator Michael Scheer was Scheer's best man. They have two sons who were born in April 2014 and August 2016.

Career
Scheer appeared at Chicago City Limits, New York City's longest-running Off-Broadway comedy show. Scheer travelled extensively throughout the United States and overseas as a member of their touring company.
Scheer began performing at the Upright Citizen's Brigade Theater in New York City in 1998, when she was at NYU. Scheer appeared on several weekly shows, including Talk Show,The Real World, and Respecto Montalban.
