In the aftermath of charges of misconduct and sexual assault directed at the Portland Timbers' CEO, the company has officially dropped DaBella as their main shirt sponsor. The Timbers announced in a tweet on Wednesday that they had 'terminated' the club's corporate partnership with DaBella, which would go into place immediately, after receiving notice of allegations of misconduct at the team which was made public on February 23. The Timbers and a third-party company underwent an extensive pre-deal vetting process, but the club didn't learn of the filing until February 27.'

After Sporting KC supporters learned about his role in the recruitment of ex-NWSL coach Paul Riley, who was one of five coaches fired or forced to resign amid allegations of misconduct in 2021, Wilkinson quit his position.
