Why Aussie Olympian says local star, 16, is on track to follow in Usain Bolt's footsteps: 'Google this guy and watch him run'

www.dailymail.co.uk, January 29, 2024
Jane Flemming (left) of Australia believes that rising track star Gout Gout (eight) will imitate the eight-time Olympic champion after the 16-year-old stunned him by smashing a national sprint record. After winning the under-18s 200m at the Australian junior championships in scintillating style, the 16-year-old from Brisbane introduced himself to the athletics world in April.

Peter Boll's solicitor says that the doping probe into Australia's athletics star is a "sham," according to Peter Bol's lawyer

www.dailymail.co.uk, March 29, 2023
After Bol was suspended due to the positive result he was warned of on January 10, solicitor Paul Greene has alleged Sport Integrity Australia of having no evidence against his client.

Peter Bol, the Olympic hero, believes that the drug test was leaked, so he will not win Young Australian of the Year

www.dailymail.co.uk, March 5, 2023
Peter Bolt, the Australian Olympic 800 meters runner, says his positive drug test was leaked 'at just a good time,' so he will not win Young Australian of the Year, and insists he was 'robbed' of the opportunity. Bol, 29, was barred from Athletics Australia for failing an out-of-competition drug test in January and has promised to delete his name. Although Bol's provisional suspension was withdrawn two weeks earlier due to a strange finding in his B sample, Sport Integrity Australia's inquiry is now ongoing.
