Career

Faras began her television career in 1995 with Bernard Fougères on Ecuavisa's El show de Bernard as a model. She appeared on SiTV shows such as Guayaquil Caliente, Todos a Bailar, and Playa Fantasa over the next year. Juego de manos, dolos de la bola, Fantas en la Playa, Las travesuras de Pepito, and Palabras al Viento are among Fargo's other Canal Uno productions that Faras participated in. Las Perlas del Pacfico, a singer from Spain, has been a member of the Las Perlas del Pacfico for four years.

Faras left Canal Uno in 2000 to begin her career as a solo singer and reentered television as an actress and as a cheerleader.

In 2006, she rose to fame as the protagonist of Ecuador's adaptation of The Nanny.
