Career

Lieutenant Ginger Bayliss, a recurring character on the television show M*A*S*H, on which she appeared on 26 episodes from 1972 to 1975, is the life member of The Actors Studio in Cleveland.

Trapper John, M.D., was a guest star on an episode of the CBS-TV series M*A*S*H spin-off. In 1986, a woman was born in 1986. Odessa debuted at the Watts Writer's Workshop/Theater in Los Angeles, and under Budd Schulberg's tutelage, Odessa appeared in such films as Black Girl in Search of God at Jim Wood's Studio Watts Theater in Los Angeles.

In the 1974 musical release of Huckleberry Finn, she portrayed Jim's slave wife.

Cleveland was educated in the Los Angeles Unified School District.
