Nnamdi Asomugha (NAHM-dee AH-wah; born July 6, 1981) is a Nigerian-American actor, producer, and former American football cornerback.
He played college football for the University of California, Berkeley, and was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the first round of the 2003 NFL Draft.

Professional career
Asomugha was the second Cal player to be drafted in the first round (31st overall) of the 2003 NFL draft by the Oakland Raiders' second round (31st overall). He was sent to cornerback, but he spent sparingly in the first two seasons of his career. He made his debut in 2005 and set new records in tackles with 60 tackles (55 solo) and passes broken up with 14.
He intercepted the Cleveland Browns in 2006 for his first two career interceptions. He made his third interception against the Pittsburgh Steelers four weeks later, putting the ball 24 yards for his first touchdown of his career.
