Nino Bravo Life

Luis Manuel Ferri Llopis (3 August 1944 – April 1973), better known as Nino Bravo, was a Spanish barroque - pop and ballad singer.

Early life

Ferri Llopis was born in Aielo de Malfert (Valencia, Spain). Luis Manuel, a salesman, and his family moved to Valencia, Spain, in search of better opportunities when his son was three years old. Young Luis met Vicente López, a bassist who introduced him to other Valencian musicians in 1958. Ferri Llopis discovered he could sing while on a trip with López and Paco Ramón. After awakening from a nap, López was surprised to hear him singing "Libero" by Domenico Modugno. Ferri Llopis will be a natural performer, according to Lopez, who was deeply impressed.

Ferri Llopis, on the other hand, worked as a jeweler while also caring for his mother, who owned a grocery store. He became a fan of the Chilean singer Antonio Prieto, whose album, "La Novia" ("The Bride"), was a number one hit in Spain at age 16. Bravo and his allies formed "Los Hispánicos," a Mexican band formed, and made a cover album of "La Novia."
