Career

He was born in Brattleboro, Vermont, and now lives in Lebanon, New Hampshire. At the Storrs Hill Ski area, Alexander learned to ski and ski jump from members of the Lebanon Outing Club. In 2009, he made his world cup debut in Kuusamo. He is a member of the United States Men's Ski Jumping Team and an Olympian who competed in the 2010 Winter Olympics.

Alexander triumphed on the traditional Olympic hill in Lake Placid, NY, in the 2013 Men's U.S. National Ski Jumping Championship. In 2013, he finished second in the Men's National Ski Jumping Championship in Park City, Utah, on the large Olympic hill. On the only hill climbed this year, the standard Olympic hill, he won the 2009 Men's National Ski Jumping Championship in Lake Placid, NY.

In the big hill event in March 2010, he placed 38th in his best winter World Cup finish.

Alexander finished tenth in the FIS Ski Flying World Championships 2010 in Planica's team racing hill event. He earned his 29th spot in the individual competition at the same level. In this run, he set a personal record of 184 meters (604 ft).

He finished 11th in the team large hill, 40th in the individual large hill, and 41st in the individual normal hill events at the 2010 Winter Olympics.
