Neekolul, an American Twitch streamer, YouTuber, and social media celebrity who rose to fame in March 2020 with a TikTok clip in which she had lip-synced to a song called Oki Doki Boomer while wearing a crop top that featured Bernie Sanders' image while campaigning for president of the United States at the time. The song included in the clip was a direct reference to the 'OK Boomer' internet meme, which had already become a viral trend in late 2019. She had been signed up as a content creator by 100 Thieves, a lifestyle brand and gaming company headquartered in Los Angeles, a few months earlier, in July 2020. In addition to her work on TikTok, where she has amassed more than 800k followers, she also posts content relating to video games such as League of Legends and Dead by Daylight on the website in both English and Spanish. She is also a fan of other social media platforms, with more than 750k followers on Twitter and more than 700k on Instagram. She had started posting videos on her own YouTube channel in July 2020, after being encouraged by her TikTok success. She has gained more than 75,000 followers thanks to her diverse mix of challenge videos and reaction videos.
