Early life
Natasha Alam was born and raised in Tashkent, Uzbek SSR, Soviet Union, Soviet Union, Russian Union. She went to school with the intention of becoming a clothing designer. She went to Tashkent State Technical University for aviation education. Modeling at school led to modeling at exhibitions and then relocating to Moscow, where she worked for an agency. She was later signed by an Italian modeling company, and she moved to Italy.
Personal life
Alam met Iranian prince Amir Ebrahim Pahlavi Alam while transferring to Italy and escorted with him to New York City. The pair broke up, then reunited, married in 1998, and moved to London, where she began learning acting lessons. Alam said in 2011 that she later "ran away to Los Angeles because I wanted to act."
