Early life
Nimri's mother is from Pamplona, and her father, Karam Nimri, is Jordanian. She has a brother named Karim Nimri, a half-brother named Andre Nimri, and two half-sisters named Sara and Nadia Nimri. Alexander Nimier, Najwa's cousin, is also a singer. When she was a child, she moved to Bilbao and now lives in Madrid. Teo Nabil, her son, was born on June 30, 2004, she has one son named Teo Nabil.
Career
Salto al vaco, the first film directed by Daniel Calparsoro, was her first big screen role. Her singing career began with small audiences. Najwajean formed the band Najwajean with Carlos Jean in 1996. She has also released three solo albums. She was married to Daniel Calparsoro in 2004, and Teo is her son.
Several of her film roles earned her acclaim: Ana in Lovers of the Arctic Circle and Elena in Luca y sexo. Julio Medem directed both films. In Abre los ojos and El método, she appeared next to Eduardo Noriega.
